In 2010 H.O.P.E. Preparatory Group emerged to provide full-day home school services for students in grades K-8 on our site at Community Bible Chapel. We are partners with our local school system and parents in educating our young people so they can grow up to be productive and positive citizens in their communities. Our program not only offers a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn, but also affords children the opportunity to receive personal attention and one-on-one instructional time. We are a faith-based home school program that aims to educate our students about God and the world around them through the use of bible-based curriculum. For the past seventeen years, H.O.P.E. Ministries, Inc. has remained committed to not only the building and rebuilding of lives, but also committed to developing youth who are academically and morally strong in their local communities. Our guiding principles are to:
- Train students in the fear and admonition of the Lord through bible based curriculum and character development
- Provide high-quality academic instructional time to all students
- Encourage students to be accountable and responsible individuals
- Develop youth who will be successful contributors in their community and the world
- Make Excellence the Standard
- Serves children grades K-8

H.O.P.E. Preparatory Group is a year-round home school program that operates 46 weeks on the campus of Community Bible Chapel in Southeast Atlanta. The program is divided into four sessions and serves children from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm daily. Fridays are reserved for "Field Learning Experiences," in which students are engaged outside of the classroom setting each week through field trips and/or special events.
Upon entry into the H.O.P.E. Preparatory Group, students undergo assessment testing allowing teaching staff to develop appropriate educational plans tailored for each child. We recognize that every child is unique and learns differently; therefore allowing us to be sensitive yet creative in our teaching styles. Students also take standardized testing throughout the program year to assess their achievement. H.O.P.E. Preparatory Group utilizes Abeka and Saxon curriculums. Our program offers a balance of educational, spiritual, social, and recreational enrichment.
